The forte_forte winter 2023 RTW collection is inspired by the Aurora Borealis with contrasts between deep darkness and vibrant light.
The legendary tales unfold in the icy landscape of these faraway lands, where the cosmos becomes the protagonist together with nature and its wildlife.
The collection features enveloping layers over bright satin dresses; winter animalier motifs and luxurious eco furs over shiny metallic surfaces. Jacquards are like tapestries, chenille woven with rich lurex, portraying mythical stories of felines. Iridescent sequins and crystal bead dust coat resembling precious hand embroidery trace the horizons of glacial landscapes.
Surfaces are smooth and silky for the new velvet and lamé dinner jackets. Bold silhouettes in block–colors resonate in vibrant boreal shades. Dresses are sinuous and low–cut, accentuating the strong features of these new heroines. Knits are the main character, enveloping oversized shapes and soft scarves worn as stoles in soft, reflective tones: cashmere, merino, alpaca, silk, mohair. Generous Nordic jacquard blankets and fringed cardigans warm up the precious silhouettes of this boreal winter of ours.
Accessories bijoux, minimal and essential, are stripped of the supporting structures to become only crystal or only pearl.
In footwear, the iconic ankle boots and fussbett in suede, napa leather or shearling are joined by new thigh–high boots and mules in silky satin and crystals, as well as very elegant velvet sandals.
