Burberry unveils its new B-Series and Summer Capsule, all set to impress with its exciting offerings.

July 25, 2019

The Thomas Burberry monogram in bold proportions is the star of the latest Burberry Summer 2019 capsule collection of swimwear and towels. Accessorize poolside with modern sunglasses accompanied by silk printed hair scarves, all elevated with the brand’s monogram.

Consisting of laid back-yet-luxurious pieces, the Burberry 2019 capsule collection features items like towels, swimwear, goggles and more – all items perfect and essential for the summer. Pops of bright orange against malt brown, black and white in its color palette, and the ‘TB’ logo also takes center stage loud and proud on some of the pieces.

Logo-print towels feature alongside swimwear within the collection, taking inspiration from the Burberry archive. The earliest record of selling towels dates back to 1881, providing different textures of linen and cotton from the Burberry Basingstoke store throughout the last two decades of the 19th century.

This marks the July addition to the Maison’s B-Series, which has been bringing us exciting new releases on the 17th of each month since its launch on 17 October last year. The brainchild of creative director Riccardo Tisci, he uses the B-Series as a platform to maintain constant and consistent communication with Burberry’s fans and users.

This idea of exclusive or limited clothing drops has been a recurring theme under Tisci even before B-Series was officially introduced, with Tisci dropping the Thomas Burberry Monogram black T-shirt for a limited 24 hours, as well as putting pieces from his debut collection up for sale for a limited time period.
