The 3.1 Phillip Lim Pre-Fall 2019 collection is a collaboration between our brand and artists, photographers and filmmakers who romance their realities, bringing beauty and texture to the world in which we live.
For this installment, the brand has partnered with two new creatives: Carlota Guerrero and Kyle Weeks, both talented artists and global citizens.
Carlota’s unique blend of feminism, nature and performance creates work that is both subversive and ethereal. The theme for this shoot with Phillip Lim was about working with the idea of a Tribe. Kyle Weeks challenges the traditional relationship between subjects and documentary image-makers, touching on the pervasive nature of colonial dynamics.
In this evolution of the 3.1 Tribe campaign, both artists prominently feature the family as subject matter and the images are a powerful celebration of creativity and community. 3.1 Phillip Lim is proud to highlight our diverse and beautiful 3.1 Tribe and share the many varied ways we find beauty in the world around us.
