The Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya Spring 2019 capsule collection was inspired by patterns and silhouettes associated with the 1970s with think flared trousers, psychedelic prints, and satin materials.

The Battle of Versailles was the main source of inspiration. The iconic fashion show on November 28, 1973, saw French and American designers competing against each other at the Palace of Versailles. Meanwhile, the highly publicized event helped raise money for the heritage site’s restoration.

The collection which ranged from high-waisted, wide-leg denim and easy suiting to curve-hugging jumpsuits and flirty, glittery dresses for a night out dancing, will surely appeal to any customer enamored with ’70s style.
