The French-Italian clothing and sportswear retailer Moncler has recently opened its first Canadian store in Toronto in a 2,540 square-foot space, replacing half of the 4,660 square-foot, mid-priced fashion retailer, Mexx.
With a dark ambiance, the store features elements of steel, marble and wood. All within brown and grey color palette, the brand remains sleek and sophisticated within their boutique aesthetic. Featuring women’s and men’s collections, the store carries a variety of collections including their famed outerwear, ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear.
The store is located in Toronto’s Yorkdale shopping center at 3401 Dufferin Street. The boutique is set to open end September 2014.
Canada’s first free-standing Bulgari and Jimmy Choo stores will join other Canadian firsts, including David Yurman, Mulberry, John Varvatos and others at Yorkdall Mall. Adding to this is a Holt Renfrew store with several large luxury shops-in-store, creating an upscale shopping destination unrivalled in Canada. Yorkdale is expected to become North America’s highest-selling mall by 2018, with annual sales estimates of $2 billion. With Nordstrom’s new 191,000 square -foot store and a new 110,000 square-foot retail wing, Yorkdale’s $1 billion annual sales will increase substantially.
