Actress Dakota Fanning showcases her individual style in an exclusive shoot for the Jimmy Choo Spring 2017 collection on location at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. Dakota mixes her favourite accessories with an ethereal and feminine wardrobe.

“My earliest fashion memory was clomping around in my aunt’s heels, while visiting her in Miami,” said the actress.

She’s also no stranger to the world of Jimmy Choo. “To me the brand is absolutely iconic,” she explains, “I’ve worn Jimmy Choos too many times to count, because they can make a statement, but also seamlessly fit in with many different looks.”

Nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award at the age of 8 for her performance in I am Sam made Dakota Fanning the youngest nominee in history. Followed by films such as Man on Fire, War of The Worlds and The Twilight Saga and roles alongside some of the most iconic names in Hollywood, Sean Penn, Denzel Washington and Robert De Niro, Dakota has been in the spotlight as a rising star from an early age. In addition to her dynamic film career, Dakota has carved her way as a style icon recognised for her impactful and directional fashion nous. Catching the attention of the global fashion industry Dakota’s quirky and romantic style has seen her featured numerous times on the covers of international fashion magazines.

“Dakota has such a nuanced and sophisticated understanding of fashion. Unafraid to push boundaries and wear something unexpected. I love seeing someone explore fashion with such maturity and self –assuredness. Her style is bold yet classic and her experimentation with colour and pattern suited her perfectly to the Spring Summer collection. The botanic gardens as a back drop made the collection come to life and envelope you in their natural beauty,” said Sandra Choi, Creative Director.
