The new Ralph Lauren boutique in São Paulo has just opened on the ground floor of Cidade Jardim. Spanning more than 9,100 square feet of retail space, the store will feature Ralph Lauren’s women’s wear and men’s wear collections, along with accessories and leather goods, footwear and timepieces.

“I have long been fascinated by the Brazilian lifestyle and culture and believe our first store in São Paulo will fit well into a country that appreciates traditions of true quality and luxury,” said Ralph Lauren.

Blending the style of Brazil’s residential ranches with Lauren’s signature equestrian heritage, the storefront features archways made of cast stone and white plaster along with two water fountains that flank the grand entrance. Alternating smaller and larger rooms — a traditional layout in Lauren’s stores — the design features reclaimed oak beams, stained concrete floors with oak ties and decorative ceramic tiles, hand-finished plaster walls, a mix of oak and painted-white furniture cases and antique vitrines and fixtures. The decor includes decorative pendants, hand-woven area rugs, new and antique upholstered furniture and potted palms. There also is a bar that will serve cocktails and light fare.

Upon entering the store is a foyer which leads to a room housing the collection for women on the left and Purple Label for men on the right. An assortment of footwear, accessories and eyewear for both men and women is located within separate salons of these areas. There is also a watch salon for Ralph Lauren timepieces.

Accents of Ralph Lauren Home are evident throughout the store, such as candles and books that are offered for sale. Model amalgam cars from the designer’s private collection are placed throughout the store, along with antique pieces.
