Introducing the Prabal Gurung Fall 2015 ad campaign photographed in New York by Daniel Jackson and directed by Berger & Wild.
“For the Fall 2015 campaign, I wanted to revert back to the roots of the brand’s DNA: embracing American sportswear with a glamorous edge,” says Prabal Gurung of his label’s new ads.
Model Caroline Trentini is featured seductively posing in Gurung’s light and easy pieces one in an intricate slip dresses, the straps falling off her shoulders, another posing nude, sporting a pair of Prabal Gurung heels.
“I have always loved and adored her for as long as I can remember,” he explains of his newest muse. “She epitomizes the PG woman. Aside from being a successful supermodel and mother, she celebrates her femininity and carries herself with a certain level of confidence and humility in her work. She is a supermodel for a reason—she acknowledges not only herself, but everyone around her.”
The idea behind the simplicity of the campaign is to show a woman who is empowered in and out of clothing.
“The images resulted in a woman who embraces her sensuality and comfort in the clothes,” Gurung notes. “I loved having the opportunity to work with Caroline, a multifaceted woman of substance.”
