TORY BURCH HOLIDAY 2019 COLLECTION FILM
The designer looked to the American folk tradition — intricate quilting, gauzy eyelets and craftsy, wildflower embroideries.

A cast of characters assemble for a new kind of festive family, photographed by Tina Barney for the Tory Burch Holiday 2019 film.
The collection has a rustic, homespun charm that finds balance in refined tailoring and festive, high-shine appliqués. There is nature throughout, inspired by the multicolored birds and butterflies from our farm growing up. A sense of free-spiritedness carries through to the accessories from sculptural heels to mixed-material handbags.
The interior or the background of the set is almost more important to Tory Burch than the figures or the subjects. Without that, Tina Barney can have the most spectacular subject in the world, and I can’t take an interesting picture. This house that that was chosen for Tory Burch’s Holiday 2019 campaign was exciting. It was everything I had ever dreamed of. I think Tory knew it. It was indescribable.
The physical space of the landscape was almost like going into a dream. But then each space inside the house… the combination of age and history and family stories and great taste and lack of pretention.
