SALVATORE FERRAGAMO FALL 2019 FILM CAMPAIGN
Follow the Patchwork Of Characters on their latest excursion through Milan, in the new Salvatore Ferragamo Fall campaign.
July 2, 2019
This Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2019 film campaign, shot again by renowned British photographer Harley Weir, is an ode to the unmistakably Italian flavor of ease and sophistication inherent in the house.
The locations were chosen by artistic director Paul Andrew shortly after the presentation of the Fall 2019 show in Milan. He says: “As I was walking through the city every day to prepare for that show, I started peeking into the doorways of the buildings as I passed. I realized Milan is full of hidden architectural treasures – beautiful courtyards and entryways – that you cannot see from the street and I decided to showcase some of these special secret sites in our campaign.”
Continuing the house’s Patchwork of Characters philosophy, the campaign features a cast of models, both male and female, cast from a broad range of cultures and age.
Some of the models are regular collaborators with Salvatore Ferragamo, friends of the house, but one notable new face this season is that of Hero Fiennes-Tiffin. Liya Kebede, Kirsty Hume, Sora Choi, Rishi Robin, and Jonas Mason also front the images. Styled by Jodie Barnes, tailored jackets, leather coats and chic suiting stands out. For beauty, Jimmy Paul works on hair with makeup by Thomas De Kluyver.
