Designed in England, the timeless silhouette reflects British sensibility through its classic and enduring shape and is defined by a structured top handle and a distinctive oversize lock. Named after the house code for our signature honey-coloured gabardine, the DK88 handbag is a tribute to the fabric at the heart of Burberry’s history and is crafted in our exclusive new Trench Leather.

Each bag is made from a unique pattern that is hand-cut by a specialist artisan using a range of tools and techniques. The distinctive embossed leather is inspired by the grain of our iconic trench coat. The centrepiece of the DK88 is tumbled to create a vintage feel. The precise curve of the bag’s top handle is created by hand. The elegant, sculptural handle is wrapped in leather and then stitched by our embroiderers.
