The new Balenciaga boutique at the Royalmount in Montreal offers the latest collections of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, footwear, bags, jewelry, eyewear, and accessories.

Announced by minimal, white-lit Balenciaga signage on a bare concrete façade, the store’s design follows the House’s experiential Raw Architecture concept, conceived to question traditional spatial elements of luxury. Construction prioritizes the integration of existing structural components, inherently reducing the use of virgin materials in line with Balenciaga’s commitment to sustainable practices.

Inside, a tactile interplay of textures defines the space. Poured concrete floors, smoked-glass partitions, and steel clothing rails are offset by tactile beige carpeting, plush leather seating, and draped ecru curtains. Raw metal tables and extruded aluminum shelving recall the utilitarian structures of warehouses, while ceiling grids and lighting systems remain deliberately exposed overhead—lending the space an aesthetic quality.
