The Proenza Schouler Fall Winter 2025 collection reinterprets traditional American codes through a new lens, balancing the rawness of the natural world with a refined, urban sensibility.
The stripes of Spring 2025 are transformed into plaid motifs for Fall Winter. Intricate woven jacquards and plush knitwear are realized in a color palette of rich earth tones, vivid shades of blue, and verdant apple green. Utilitarian and humble fabrics like corduroy and denim are cut generously rendering them immediately sumptuous. Shearling, leather, and intarsia knitwear drape, wrap and envelop to embrace the body’s natural contours.
The silhouette is intentionally generous: voluminous outerwear, draped overcoats, and wide-leg trousers create ease and polish while pleated dresses and floral printed silks add a softness to the cold weather outerwear and easy tailoring. Diaphanous pleated jersey of season’s past is made anew with accents of custom metal hardware. And in a nod to the natural world, handcrafted leather flowers are appliqued onto silk chiffon dresses and separates.
Handbags merge form and function, whether cradled in hand or draped across the shoulder. New materials include soft, shiny paper calf leather, and pieced shearling. The Days Carryall Tote emerges as a brand hero, in optic white and black. The Silo bag takes fresh shape in an exaggerated clutch and crossbody form while the new Reade Shoulder Bag marries style with a purposeful design for everyday life. Shoes are versatile and varied in silhouette with slouchy leather boots, pumps and loafers.
