Veronica Leoni debuted her first season for Calvin Klein with the Fall 2025 RTW collection offering distinct way of dressing and a versatility for today.
“As a designer, I have always been deeply inspired by Calvin Klein, and the chance to write this next chapter for the brand is a one-of-a-kind opportunity,” said Leoni in a press release. “My goal is to define an ultimate and definitive expression of monumental minimalism and pureness through shape and craft, bringing Mr. Klein’s original vision and distinctive approach into the current day.”
Leoni paid homage to the classic characters of a bustling city with special attention to New Yorkers. Think of a taxi driver wearing a leather bomber jacket, a college student running around campus in a shrunken jumper, or woman shedding her daytime suiting for an evening in a red dress. Of course, there were garments fit for the city’s corporate employees. Each look nodded to these cultural touchstones while infusing them with modern relevance, anchoring the collection in a rich narrative of Americana.
Leoni’s collection also reintroduced underwear as a recurring motif, reimagined through a lens of intimacy and tactility. Pieces were layered thoughtfully to evoke the feeling of nostalgic comfort and allure, including staples like a relaxed knitted henley and the casual sensuality of a silky slip dress.
