ERMANNO SCERVINO PRE-FALL 2025 COLLECTION

For Pre-Fall, the construction of the garments reveals thorough research on proportions.

As if emerging from the pages of a photographic magazine from the 1990s, the Ermanno Scervino Pre-Fall 2025 collection is a tribute to sophisticated minimalism and urban energy. The garments capture the spirit of Helmut Newton and Peter Lindbergh, evoking bold women who shift between self-control and a natural freedom, in the deep tones of the modern metropolis.

Masculine shoulders are balanced by defined waists and elongated silhouettes. Hints of bustiers and small knitted tops, integrated into dresses and suits, emphasize the female body. The overlapping of volumes, like oversize coats on fitted dresses or miniskirts, creates a visual harmony mixing protection and sensuality. Knitted leggings, ‘70s-style men’s trousers and oversized jeans enhance movement, making it seem like an almost cheeky gesture.

Herringbone wool, tweed, double mélange, all echo the tradition of men’s tailoring, reinterpreted with a softness that caresses the body, without being stiff. The result is an enveloping, yet visually light, warmth.

Knitwear blends into extremely light lace, floral embroideries interrupt the compactness of reversed sheepskin and lend three-dimensionality to pullovers. Surfaces seem to be carved, like for wool macramé or ribbed elastic stitch. And shearling garments, with their natural texture, are modelled into jackets and coats that are as soft as cardigans. Leather, in shiny or suede variants, becomes garments that retain a worn feel featuring clean, structured lines.
