Taylor Russell, Drew Starkey, and Wang Yibo embrace Loewe’s return to its roots for Spring.

The Loewe Spring 2025 ad campaign, captured by renowned photographer David Sims, unfolds in the serene countryside of Tavertet, Catalonia. The imagery highlights Loewe’s relationship with the natural world, paying homage to its Spanish heritage and the artistic vision of Jonathan Anderson, now in his tenth year at the helm.
Photographed en plein air, the campaign evokes an almost pagan reverence for nature. The vivid colors and painterly textures celebrate Loewe’s geographic and cultural roots. Anderson revisits the themes that marked his early tenure, emphasizing the brand’s elemental approach to design. The collection’s ethereal floral prints, feathers, earthy leathers, and draped silhouettes embody the tactile and visual richness inspired by nature’s raw beauty.
The images feature Drew Starkey, Taylor Russell, and Lpewe’s global ambassador Wang Yibo, each interacting with the natural landscape. Starkey sits on a bed of leaves, dressed in a sweater vest that contrasts with the earthy tones of the forest. Russell leans barefoot against a tree, her sequined dress blending with the bark and foliage. Meanwhile, Yibo navigates the terrain, his draped trousers flowing with his movements, adding a stark contrast to the structured tailoring he wears.
Loewe’s iconic bags—the Madrid, Featherlight Puzzle, Flamenco Purse, along with Squeeze and Toy shoes are thoughtfully positioned in the setting, as if performing in harmony with the environment.
