MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens reveal their first Fall 2024 capsule collection: a union of design perspectives that creates unorthodox forms on classic silhouettes. Debuting as part of MM6 Maison Margiela’s Fall 2024 show, this collection reconstructs and merges four core Dr. Martens designs: the Original 1460 boot, the extra tall 1490 boot, the 1461 shoe, and the Penton loafer to form three hybrid silhouettes with an MM6 twist.

A fusion of the Original 1460 8-eye boot and 1461 3-eye shoe. Combining durable Vintage Smooth leather in oxblood with soft and supple black Virginia leather for a bold contrast of colour and texture. Reinforced with a steel toe and highlighted with a Puritan chain stitch. The traditional 1461 shoe melded with the Penton loafer. Created from black Vintage Smooth leather with a subtle addition of oxblood.  Each boot is signed with an AirWair heel loop and debossed with the MM6 numeric artwork. All are set on classic DMS soles and secured with Dr. Martens iconic yellow welt stitch.

Each pair manifests the creative process through two distinct design languages that combine to create a shared artistic expression.
