Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler debuted their Spring 2025 collection, unveiling a brand-new shoe collaboration with Sorel. The design duo put their signature metropolitan spin on the footwear brand, elevating the quintessential winter snow boot into something with more of a cool, downtown edge.

The new Proenza Schouler x Sprel boots were styled with these outfit formulas, serving as sartorial inspiration for the ultimate city slicker this coming season.

Two boot styles were unveiled as part of the Sorel × Proenza Schouler release. The first, dubbed the Caribou mule, has a low-cut boot silhouette, while the second takes after a more classic Chelsea boot. Both feature Sorel’s signature waterproof vulcanized rubber shell and the brand’s Aero-Trac sole, for added grip and traction during the wintry months. Each shoe features signature Proenza Schouler heavy contrast stitch for detailing, with a custom back logo tab.

The shoes’ palette reflects the Proenza founders’ love for New York with a high-contrast, taxicab yellow and black pairing, alongside a minimalist white and jet black option.
