The Guerlain Patchouli Paris fragrance reveals a facet of the capital as yet unexplored by the Maison: the dazzle and magnetism of Parisian nights. A game of contrasts, between the immediate freshness of the banks of the Seine and the intoxicating warmth of a woody note of patchouli, evoking the effervescence of Parisian nights and the elegance of a woody note, evoking the wood of fine theatres.

“With Patchouli Paris, I wanted to capture the spirit of the Parisian night; to reveal its boldness in a fragrance. The Seine, reddening and pulsating in a fresh, lively thrill of aldehydes and musks. I wanted to express the vibration of the streets on a festive evening, in a trail of powdery, woody iris. Dazed with music and freedom, expressing glances that seek each other, and skins drawn together in an overdose of patchouli and vanilla. That night, I encapsulated Paris in a bottle. Patchouli Paris,” said Delphine Jelk, Guerlain Perfumer.

From the very first notes, the composition sweeps along with aldehydes, as fresh and lively as a shiver across skin. Then, the temperature rises at night under the red lights of Paris’ most impassioned district. Caressing the skin, the depth of patchouli continues in an amber-toned sillage of vanilla, ambergris accord and musk.
