The Akris Fall 2024 RTW collection sees transformation and hybridization with juxtaposed silhouettes.

This season unveils tailored sharp and elongated with volume shifting, deep pockets, and buttoned high shirts that  give room for movement. The infinite pant creates fluidity between the woman, the garment, and the space around her. The tube dress, the sculpted blazer, the tapered pant are staples in her wardrobe.

Texture echoes opposition with knits in cloud, felted, and bouclé cashmere that are sumptuous of touch and feel. Cotton gabardine, shearling, wavy lined corset, lacquered leather and lace and weightless organza are pragmatic.

Colors of dark dominate the palette, together with those of light: black, mocca , kale green, and deep purple. Occasionally shot through with tones of ambra , magenta, peridot, and pure ecru., the collection is luminous, sensuous, and warm.

The Ai handbag takes the spotlight as Akris Creative Director Albert Kriemler’s travels to Jinhua, China revealed a geometric building conceived by the Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao that serves as the inspiration behind the trapezoidal structure of A in Akris, the base of an important handbag and also the foundation for further development.
