The forte_forte Pre-Fall 2024 collection, entitled “Kiss From A Rose,” is a contrast of utility textiles and 1950s couture fabrics with waterproof nylon twill, heavy worsted cotton, and conceal buds of contemporary duchess satin and soft quilting.

Silhouettes are formed by opposites revealing peacoats, trench coats and army–inspired safari jackets embrace couture shapes. Echoes of fine tailoring are showcased with houndstooth tweed, bouclé yarns or faille threads in viscose wool. The nobility of pink, resonate across cargo trousers, cabans with detachable hoods and lizard print suede. The knit velvets are soft, the silky extra fine corduroy and velvet lux chenille are shiny.

Crystallized gardens in their eternal beauty are hand-embroidered rhinestones on cotton poplin in contemporary tones of oil, white and black. Flowers disguise themselves through the autumnal mist, becoming camouflaged, where contours soften and lose shape in the “Les Fleurs Camou” jacquard or the “Bloom Mist” print.

The palette becomes meditative, like a warm undergrowth, and amidst foliage and roots in shades of garden, oil, caramel, olive, copper and cocoa, shiny, vitreous berries in cerise, magenta, bolero and zest emerge.
