Futuristic and artisanal, the second Maison Margiela x Gentle Monster collection features 17 pieces of eyewear with more frames and colorways, including meticulously handcrafted leather frames, 4 iconic stitches on the temples, and templeless mask-shaped sunglasses with technology and aesthetics in mind.

First joined forces last Spring, the two labels’ combined their distinct aesthetic codes in their inaugural collection. Expanding on the previous collection’s success, the new materials and silhouettes elevate their futuristic and artisanal appeal, reflecting a new era.

Just like last time, Maison Margiela’s hallmarked four stitches are incorporated into the temples of the frames as an instant indicator of the pieces’ collaborative status. Among the new range, the handcrafted leather frames are undoubtedly the key highlights, spanning models MM104, MM106, MM108 and MM115.
