With Saint Laurent‘s largest flagship to date now open on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello introduces a fresh design concept, highlighting some of its original architectural elements.

“I wanted to realize one of Yves Saint Laurent’s wishes when he arrived in Paris and said he wanted his name to be written in fiery letters on the Champs-Élysées” notes Vaccarello on the new flagship.

Saint Laurent’s dive into modern luxury blends the building’s restored Haussmannian facade while featuring a luminous series of unique spaces that create an engaging and stimulating experience for customers. The space produces a tension between rough textures and precise details generating an unexplored paradigm of a luxury shopping environment. Marbled displays frame the brand’s collection items as special objects, allowing customers to engage with the products on view.

The house’s entire offerings, including men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, and fine jewelry, will be available at the boutique. Specially assorted items have been curated for the space, emphasizing the elevated nature of the new flagship and the Maison.
