STELLA MCCARTNEY PRE-FALL 2024 COLLECTION
For Pre-Fall, Stella McCartney takes a bird’s eye view, seeing the world from wild perspectives and different vantage points.

The Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2024 collection inspires new perspectives, as if through an animal’s eyes. The collection structural constructions and straight edges are contrasted with enshrouding, fluid forms.
Sculptural and graphic shapes are met with a Couture-coded, clean minimalism – contrasted with untamed, frivolous embellishments and details. Feathers feature throughout the collection, but in cruelty-free materials; cut into strips on neoprene on miniskirts, as organza detailing on dresses and tailoring, and tubular fringing on knitwear, as well as brushed ostrich feather prints. This moment of wild continues with iconic Stella tiger prints in neutral tones on timeless trenches, flowing maxi dresses and airy knits.
The Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2024 collection evolves with linear, lean columns in ribbed knits against cocooning cape sleeves on organic cotton poplin shirting and dresses, lingerie lace contrasts with architected sharp shoulders on Savile Row tailoring cut from responsibly sourced and regenerative wools, metal hardware on moulded silhouettes juxtaposes with transparent parachuting on dresses.
Classic cruelty-free coating and jackets include vegan alternatives to fur made from 100% recycled materials. An elevated utility is felt in hardware on flannel shirting and all-in-ones, as well as roomy denims crafted from organic and regenerative cottons.
The earthy plumages of female birds inspire a nature-based palette – energised with deep peregrine and bright jay blues, acid canary and goldfinch yellows, cardinal reds, oriole oranges, dark heron greys and classic British checks, raven blacks, swan whites and Stella neutrals.
This season, 93% of ready-to-wear is crafted from responsible materials.
