The Gucci Fall 2023 campaign, captured in Milan by David Sims against an evocative green backdrop, showcases a series of looks that debuted during the women’s and men’s fashion shows.

The new campaign showcases a series of signature silhouettes in ready-to-wear and accessories drawn from recent eras of the House and spotlights the latest archival reprisal – the Gucci Horsebit Chain bag.

First introduced twenty years ago in Tom Ford’s Fall/Winter 2003 collection, the new bag is defined by a maxi version of the iconic Horsebit, re-contextualizing the legacy hardware first conceived by Aldo Gucci in 1953 as a loafer embellishment. Updating the original with a double shoulder strap, the new Horsebit Chain bag debuts in padded leather, shearling, crystal, and contrast-leather variations.

In the Fall campaign, Vittoria Ceretti suggests new ways to wear the bag—carried by hand, on the shoulder, or as clutch, highlighting how the design encompasses the beauty of a style so representative of a certain era and yet always contemporary.
