While the inspiration behind this first edition might be Brazil, ba&sh takes you to a different destination every summer by making this new 2023 capsule beachwear collection a regular feature. In keeping with its motto ‘Born collective’, ba&sh has envisaged a secret and unspoilt island where women from all over the world are invited to meet every year.

The La Isla capsule collection is a real explosion of colour. The styles are pleated, wrapped or knotted, and the fabrics are light. Whether you’re sunbathing, strolling, swimming or finding love in the sun, this year is all about the beach holiday, and ba&sh has created outfits that are versatile and easy to wear.

The capsule collection includes several printed pieces made from certified GOTS organic cotton: the long strappy Dalia dress, the short Dova dress with puffed sleeves, the pleated Daniela maxi skirt, the Doll wrap top, the airy Dean kimono and the Dune blouse, which can be worn open or knotted. The pieces are bold and essential, and can be accessorised with the Fioh scarf or the Sioh scrunchie, both made from the same fabric and featuring the same 70s motif. Lastly, ba&sh has also created a pattern with yellow, red, green, pink and purple stripes.

More than just another accessory, it’s what heralds the return of summer every year: sublimely retro but still on trend, the raffia basket is an absolute must-have. For the 2023 beach capsule collection, ba&sh has reimagined it in several forms: the classic Ara with natural leather or neon green, and two coloured versions. ba&sh has also designed natural raffia, neon green, tricolour and multi-coloured versions. If you’re loyal to the Teddy, the version in natural raffia is a love affair that lasts well beyond the summer.

For summer 2023, ba&sh has created two pairs of flip flops with Havaianas.Comfortable and hugely on trend, the prints and colours from the beach capsule collection can be found on these two versions. On the straps, colourful beads add a touch of femininity and bohemian appeal.
