The Acne Studios Spring 2023 ad campaign has cult model Devon Aoki as a mysterious, enigmatic muse dressed in hero looks from the collection.

The Spring 2023 show celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the Swedish fashion house in Paris with a warped take on the notion of love. Traditional archetypes of romance were twisted in unexpected ways, playing with their original meaning.

Soft pink silk sheets are the perfect backdrop for Devon’s striking looks while she models the transparent tulle gown with a giant deconstructed bow in light blue. Representing a symbol of union, she is draped and wrapped in its organza ribbons that follow the lines of her body. Layers of red and white gingham clash against shiny patent leather and metallic spike studs, with a matching flower corsage bra that reminisces on the years gone by. Finally, a full splash of red in perhaps the most radical take on tradition. Grasping a metallic rose, Devon poses for Carlijn in a ruched, asymmetric gown with panels of love hearts.
