The Bottega Veneta Spring 2023 ad campaign is a visual portrayal of a journey in which craft in motion and quiet power take place, seen in different parts of the world.
From Kate Moss in a landscape imagined by Gaetano Pesce for the Bottega Veneta show, to Emma Balfour nearby her coastal home in Australia, collaborators are characters whose personalities have helped inform the approach.
Andiamo takes center stage in the campaign. Andiamo is a new expression of the signature intrecciato technique, realized by the expert craftsmanship of artisans in Bottega Veneta’s atelier. Its name, Andiamo, meaning “let’s go” in Italian, embodies the spirit of the bag, a tribute to going places and the craft in motion.
Andiamo is a carry-all with a soft leather body. With the option to wear it over your shoulder or hand-held with the top handle, a metal knot adorns and fastens its sliding braided straps, allowing it to be adjusted. The metal hook, a continuation of the Knot family, has subtle brass detailing to add a sculptural effect to this classic.
Structural yet clean, Andiamo has rounded corners and is made entirely of paper calf leather. The soft, dynamic design is a vision for elevated everyday living, fitting into the modern tailoring and versatile footwear seen throughout SS23.
