Introducing the Christian Louboutin Greekaba inspired by the land and the sea, each exclusive piece depicts Christian on his adventures in Athens and on a modern-day Odyssey through the Cyclades. Playing tour guide to the designer are Miss Tependris and her faithful poodle Pepe, created by Konstantin Kakanias, Christian’s dear friend and multifaceted illustrator. Through his playful and evocative artwork, this very special collaboration between the two creatives pays tribute to the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship of the Mediterranean.

Designed for the first time on a smooth leather base, the land Greekaba’s panels feature motifs and drawings inspired by the friezes of Antiquity in warm earthy tones – on one, Christian can be seen offering his host, Miss Tependris a pair of custom Christian Louboutin shoes. Lining the inside of the bag is new and vivid Loubieye print which reimagines the traditional ‘blue eye’, believed to protect the owner against the evil eye. On the handles, satin and metal pearls bring a sophisticated touch whilst elsewhere, the Maison’s signature Caraspikes are given a matte white makeover recalling the columns of Ancient Greek temples. To complete the land theme, the cabas will also be available in a smaller bucket style, Carasky version, and new Loubiphore silhouette.

Accompanying the Greekaba offer will be a capsule collection of men’s and women’s shoes and accessories inspired by the land and sea themes and reprising each of the two cabas’ standout details.

As with every previous cabas, a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to an association, and this year the contribution will go to ‘Together for Children’ (TFC), a Greek non-profit association comprised of nine member organizations all working to provide immediate and effective support to children, young adults with disabilities and their families in need.
