The Maison Margiela Icons collection is formalwear founded in enduring codes developed for the house by Creative Director John Galliano.

The parfum of a wardrobe is detected in its lingering scent: silhouettes and symbols distilled to their core. The first Icons drop features roomy trench coats which carry red threading details, relaxed denim, bias-cut, silk tailoring and comforting knitwear.

The Icons collection as being the final tier of a pyramid: themes are established in the haute couture ateliers of the Artisanal collection, which feeds the brand’s ready-to-wear season that follows; ideas which are then anchored by the Icons range.
