The luxury fashion house has tapped contemporary artist Ikeuchi Hiroto and robotics manufacturer Skeletonics for a new Balenciaga Spring 2022 campaign. The range showcases the Crocs collaboration, “The Hacker Project (hacker lab)” team-up with Gucci and the new Balenciaga Runner sneakers.
Photographed by Andrea Artemisio, models wearing new Balenciaga ready-to-wear, jewelry, handbags and shoes are outfitted with exoskeletons designed by Ikeuchi in partnership with Skeletonics. The robotics meets fashion creations will be exhibited at the newly reopened Balenciaga Aoyama flagship store in Tokyo, select locations throughout Japan and Paris Montaigne flagship.
Additionally, Balenciaga also prepared a campaign video directed by artist Yilmaz Sen, centered around the concept of “Here is Anywhere.”
