The launch of the new handbag line is named after a weekday or a time of day, referring to a specific moment and use.

In imagining how The Attico mindset could be transferred into bags, the designers of brand thought first and foremost about our woman, whose life is always on the go, set to the metropolitan pace, fast and fulfilling. The Attico Last Minute handbag collection is a well-rounded offering of day and evening styles that are singular in their geometric shapes inspired by the form of the brand’s trademark. Women, in the end, can choose how to wear them, mixing day and night, week day and weekend.

Design is bold, geometric and decidedly volumetric. Each bag is a bag just as much as it is a design object. The brand played with scale: different sizes of the same style immediately create a new function for a different occasion. MONDAY is a large daytime handbag with a top handle and a shoulder strap. As a mini-MONDAY of sorts which can carry only the essentials, FRIDAY represents the sparkly whim of The Attico woman. SATURDAY is a sleek clutch based on the FRIDAY mould. SUNDAY is an elongated everyday bag for daytime excursions. 11 AM is a deconstructed, trapezoid shaped bucket. 12 PM is a capacious carry-all tote. 6 PM is a small basket bag version of the 12 PM bag designed for going out. 8.30 PM, finally, is an oversized clutch in a distorted pyramid shape that fits comfortably under the arms or can be held by hand on evenings out. Volumes are highlighted by color and texture: notes of turquoise, green, red, fuchsia, black, ivory, silver, gold, and natural shades of sand and hazelnut come in rich materials such as satin, leather, nappa leather and soft, buttery suede. The metalwork adds another mark of distinction.

We believe these are the ideal bags for a last minute, hectic yet sparkly lifestyle, with a hint of playfulness that is quintessentially The Attico.
