The Manolo Blahnik flagship store in New York City, nestled in a 1920s two-story space, was designed by award-winning interior designer David Thomas, hand-in-hand with Manolo and Kristina Blahnik.
The location was inspired by the “Hollywood Regency” reimagined in a 21st-century home with classic marble floors detailing, walls adorned with hand-painted Regency-style stripes in the house’s signature color scheme, while large classical columns line the walls. Meanwhile, carrying on the tradition of the brand’s original location, shoppers will find a functional bar, which offers a range of non-alcoholic refreshments allowing visitors to both shop and meet.
The flagship houses the brand’s women’s and men’s collections, including an exclusive capsule celebrating the designer’s admiration for New York. The collection, rich in colors and textures, is inspired by the American artist Tony Duquette and his interiors. The result is a mixed collection that personifies relaxed elegance.
