The brand calls on a shooting star of the Chinese creative scene, Leslie Zhang to shoot the Moncler 2021 Lunar New Year collection. The Shanghai resident envisioned the shoot as a celebration of Chinese culture – a meta-iconography that draws its symbols from the worlds of Kung Fu, uniform and traditional Chinese architecture.

The images are saturated liberally with red – an important color in Chinese culture because of its associations with luck, joy and, of course, celebration. The Ox represents strength in Chinese culture, and Zhang chose to enhance this concept by employing visual representations of kung fu. Dynamic poses and organized sequencing shape the images with a bold energy, and perfectly showcase the Moncler pieces specially created for the New Year.

A special capsule for the Year of the Ox capsule is now available in Moncler boutiques. The range for men and women includes celestial depictions of the night sky that represent the zodiacal Ox in the constellation for 2021.
