For the Erdem Resort 2021 collection, we explore the synergy of spirit and the contrast of expression between the Regency period and the 1960s. Though separated by centuries, both were times of progress and enlightenment. They were times of experimentation with liberating knowledge and new ideas.

This experimentation manifested in the fashions of both eras and on a personal level one’s way of dressing reflected one’s identity and attitude. *The collection was imagined and brought to life remotely in lockdown – Erdem would like to thank his team for their passion, resilience and ingenuity in making this happen under extraordinary circumstance. The collection was shot on location in Epping Forest, in strict accordance with rules of social distancing at all times. ​

“We went to a place on the outskirts of Epping Forest, which is on the edge of London,” he relates. “It’s a body of work made entirely during lockdown. I can’t say how satisfying it’s been to see it all come together, the feeling of being back doing what we do.”
