In the 16th century, the tradition of exchanging wedding bands took a new form of expression and a new type of ring appeared: suitors began to give their fiancées a house ring, giving a dream the structure of a life plan. Chaumet is reviving this lovers’ tradition through its Trésors d’Ailleurs collection that marries the rigour of architecture with the rush of passion.
