Featuring Jennifer Lopez, the Versace Spring 2020 campaign is a provocative photographic essay on the power of the internet. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the campaign celebrates the digital era and the new cult of self identity.
After closing the Versace Spring 2020 runway show in a reimagined version of the iconic plunging jungle print dress she wore to the Grammy Awards in 2000, it’s no suprise the actress is the face of Versace’s seasonal campaign.
Chief Creative Officer Donatella Versace and global icon Jennifer Lopez celebrate two decades of artistic collaboration and friendship.
“To me, Versace represents empowerment and putting something beautiful out into the world. It’s a dream to collaborate with my friend donatella again on this gorgeous campaign,” said Jennifer Lopez.
The new Versace Spring 2020 campaign features long-time friend of the House Jennifer Lopez who surprised the audience and broke the internet closing the runway show in an iteration of the iconic Jungle print dress.
“In terms of my career, the Jungle dress really marked a moment in time. To me, Versace represents empowerment and putting something beautiful out into the world. It’s a dream to collaborate with my friend Donatella again on this gorgeous campaign and to create something new and fresh out of a piece of iconic fashion history,” Jennifer said.
