Danish fashion brand GANNI opens the doors to its Miami Design District coinciding with this years’ Art Basel Miami Beach.

December 9, 2019

The Ganni flagship store in Miami is the brand’s third US installment this year as part of the brand’s global expansion. The 1400 sq ft store marks the first time the brand’s local Miami #GANNIGirls community will get the chance to browse and experience the complete Ganni universe in real life, including shopping limited edition styles exclusive to the Miami store.

“Opening in the heart of Miami’s Design District is such an exciting move for us. I grew up in Denmark in the 80s watching the vibrant colors of Miami Vice and I love how the city has transformed into a global art capital. I’ve always loved the buzzing street life, bold colors and signature art deco architecture – it’s such an easy going lifestyle that goes well with the Ganni girls mindset,”  said Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director at Ganni.

The concept of the new stores has been inspired by the family home of Ganni’s founders, husband-and-wife Ditte and Nicolaj Reffstrup. The store interiors are carefully considered, filled with an eclectic mix of ceramics and artworks from up-and-coming female artists and unique vintage furniture pieces.

The stores’ bright and vibrant color palette reflects the playful Ganni spirit and Miami lifestyle and acts as a contrast to Miami’s Design District which is known for its sleek modern architecture.
