CHRISTIAN DIOR RESORT 2020 COLLECTION FILM
A key ingredient of the Dior Cruise collection, the camouflage motif mesmerized.
December 2, 2019
Step into an endless summer with the Dioriviera capsule, part of the Christian Dior Resort 2020 collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Shot under the South African sun, the latest pieces include ‘Lady Dior’ bags, bathing suits and sarongs splashed with jungle animal prints and revisited tarot card motifs.
The camouflage motif is dipped in shades of midnight-blue or khaki, fil coupé camo jacquards – a couture signature embodying Dior savoir-faire – dressed the House’s iconic bags, including the Mini Dior Book Tote, Saddle and Diorcamp.
Reflecting the modern lifestyle of a woman ever on the move, this graphic in the Artistic Director’s hands transforms from its original function into a major new fashion statement and code. This powerful symbol also punctuates other accessories, from the Nomad-D boots to the delicate reversible bob hats designed by Stephen Jones.
