Virginie Viard, Artistic Director of fashion collections, continues the story of Chanel and travel with a ready-to-wear collection devoted to movement, freedom and comfort. Inspired by travel, the Chanel Resort 2020 collection presents a silhouette in motion, both strong and bursting with subtle delicateness.

The Chanel allure adds new shapes to its stylisic vocabulary, where sophistication is built on the purity and exactitude of detail. No other garment better defines the meaning of allure. Recognizable at the first glance, the Chanel tweed jacket is the reinterpreted season after season.

Masculine/feminine styles with ‘workwear’ touches inspired by stationmasters’ uniforms and brown and navy stripes revealing rows of sequins.

In harmony with the spirit of the collection, the bags of the season take hold of new fabrics and revisit the emblematic quilted Chanel code.

Echoing the House’s two-tone pumps with conic heels, looks oscillate between two colors; at time bright red, at other ink blue, punctuated with touches of black or white.

The Chanel Resort 2020 look is embodied by Caroline de Maigret, Soo Joo Park, Amanda Sanchez, Ola Rudnicka and Tami Williams.
