Singer, designer and beauty mogul Rihanna publishes her first book, a visual autobiography, titled simply The Rihanna Book. Released this week, it is described as a crazy to look back at her journey to stardom. The book includes over 1000 images, the 504-page book includes intimate images of her life as well as more glamorous moments.

“I am so excited to share this collection of incredible images. I’m very grateful to the talented photographers and artists who contributed. We’ve been working on the book for over five years and I’m really happy to be able to finally share it with everybody,” says Rihanna.

She wrote, “It’s crazy to look back at all of the memories and be able to share these precious moments with you!”

The memoir reveals rare photographs of the singer, which includes images of her wincing as she has her iconic chest tattoo done and smoking a cigar with Jay-Z and Beyonce at her 23rd birthday.

Rihanna’s book is published by Phaidon with three additional limited editions. The Book is available in Waterstones and Harvey Nichols.
