Rita Ora stars in Escada's Fall campaign refracting its the brand's optimism and fearless femininity through a contemporary lens.

House ambassador Rita Ora appears center stage for the Escada Fall 2019 campaign, bringing to life the playful yet luxurious aesthetic that the Maison has become renowned for.
Rita is fully embedded within Escada’s vision that celebrates female autonomy and strength – and Rita’s personal sense of style has informed a limited-edition handbag whose proceeds included donations to the Women for Women charity.
“For me, Escada is a celebration of women,” notes Rita. “I think it’s really important to define that as a working woman, a confident, independent woman – a woman on their own mission. I’m so pleased to be collaborating with a brand that champions female strength and puts the empowerment of women at the forefront of everything they do.”
Equally, Rita’s multi-faceted character embodies that of the Escada woman, and now her ability to oscillate between sophisticated elegance and youthful irreverence is reflected through a new series of campaign images captured by Craig McDean and styled by Anna Trevelyan. Appearing dressed in Escada’s mainline collection and Escada Sport, she presents multiple iterations of the modern ESCADA woman – one who is free to express herself however, she chooses.
“Our founder, Margaretha Ley, made her name dressing strong women,” says Iris Epple-Righi, Escada’s CEO. “She armed them with a wardrobe to break glass ceilings in business in the 70s, 80s and 90s, leaving an indelible mark on the fashion of the period. Rita embodies the spirit of those women. She knows her own voice, has built her own empire and continues to prove it’s possible to cut your own path, with self-belief, talent and a great sense of humour. As such, she is a true Escada woman.”
