CHRISITAN DIOR DIORIVIERA PRE-FALL 2019 COLLECTION FILM
Discover the collection inspired by the Kaleidoscopic motifs developed by Maria Grazia Chiuri for her Spring line-up.
June 25, 2019
On the occasion of the launch of the Fall 2019 collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the Christian Dior Dioriviera line has been enriched with a fresh injection of summer creations.
Designed as a tribute to the color-drenched cinematic experiments of Loie Fuller, a pioneering figure of avant-garde dance, these hypnotic designs burst across ready-to-wear and accessories. They appear in pink, blue and multicolored shades on light cotton tunics, swimsuits, sarongs, beach towels, sandals, a cap, and three Dior icons: the Dior Book Tote, Lady Dior and Saddle bags.
The House’s signature toile de Jouy motif, which was revisited for the 2019 cruise collection, adorns one-piece and two-piece swimsuits. Stripes – in red, blue or black – decorate items including the ‘Dior Book Tote’ bag, bath towels, sarongs and sandals, with black woven bracelets marked “Christian Dior J’Adior” among the other highlights. A personalization service for the Artistic Director’s emblematic Dior Book Tote also is being offered at this pop-up for an exclusive two-week period in July.
Christian Dior has launched destination-branded beachwear in eight different locations, via pop-up stores in Italy’s Porto Cervo and Forte dei Marmi, as well as on the Greek island of Mykonos, from mid-May to September. A pop-up store on the Balearic island of Ibiza has opened its doors from June to September. Destination-specific items will also be sold in Dior stores in the Italian destinations of Capri and Portofino, the French town of Saint-Tropez and Marbella, Spain.
With bold stripes, book totes, and toile de Jouy print, the Dioriviera capsule collection is sure to get you longing for a trip to the coast.
