DAVID YURMAN SUMMER 2019 SOLARI COLLECTION FILM
David Yurman launches its newest summer Solari collection celebrating the sublime elegance of the sphere.
June 12, 2019
Derived from the Italian word for “sun,” the David Yurman Summer 2019 Solari embodies the simplicity of modern sophistication, incorporating colored gemstones, pearls and orbs of precious metal.
Solari marks David Yurman’s return to the sphere as the centerpiece of a collection. His newest interpretations of the elemental shape play with scale and colour, putting a fresh spin on modern sophistication.
A chain-station necklace, drop earrings and a 2.6mm Cable Spira bracelet contrast extra-large beads with smaller sized ones, mixing White Diamonds and Rose Gold, Black Onyx and Cultured Freshwater Pearls or pink-toned Kunzite and peach-hued Morganite in the same piece.
Evolved from the Orbit collection, which first debuted in 2005, the David Yurman Summer 2019 Solari collection is a modern take on the orbital design, incorporating a variety of materials including Rose Gold, Diamonds, Kunzite and Pearls in a further distillation of form. From elemental subatomic particles to the configuration of the solar system and from the ancient Greeks to modernist Bauhaus Design theory — the sphere is a fundamental form.
