TEMPLE ST. CLAIR FLAGSHIP STORE IN NEW YORK
Temple St. Clair has opened an exclusive jewelry boutique in Saks Fifth Avenue's newly renovated flagship in New York City.

Saks Fifth Avenue is the new house of the Temple St. Clair flagship store in New York, the jewelry designer’s second boutique. Earlier last year, Temple St. Clair became the first American jeweler to open a branded shop on the historic Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy.
The Saks boutique with its modern splashes of royal blue, saffron yellow, and rubine red has been likened to a composition by Mondrian. Bits of Florence adorn the store – chairs found in Florence, a marble table designed by Temple and crafted by a Florentine artisan, and crescent moon shaped vitrines built in Italy.
The designer also wanted the boutique space to reflect her downtown SoHo studio. A passionate storyteller, St Clair has dedicated one wall to a library containing collections of books that include the bibliographies behind her collections. Books of ancient astronomical drawings, natural history, and classical mythology illuminate the shelves. St. Clair has also dedicated space to books by artist friends and collaborators such as Nancy Lorenz and Caio Fonseca. Temple St. Clair’s books, Alchemy and The Golden Menagerie and other hand-bound limited-edition works can be found and are available for sale.
The shop exclusively features her limited edition and one-of-a-kind high jewelry alongside her well-known fine jewelry including the iconic rock crystal Amulets and Celestial and Tree of Life collections.
Through digital magic, the two boutiques share a live view from the window of her Florentine shop. Saks shoppers can stop by the flagship on Fifth Avenue to see what’s going on along the banks of the Arno River next to the Uffizi Museum and the Vasari corridor. When the view of the Arno is not playing, you can be entertained by St. Clair’s watercolors brought to life as short animated films by yet another Italian filmmaker friend.
