The Christian Dior Miss Dior Eau de Toilette is a hymn to love, emblematic of Dior’s femininity and Couture spirit. A tailor-made trail with a modern, rebellious and elegant character.
“I wanted to ‘freshen’ this new Eau de Toilette, by giving it a unique characteristic with this original Lily of the Valley accord, which appears in no other variation,” says Francois Demachy. The Perfumer-Creator composed a rose that twirls like a tulle petticoat. “At the heart of Miss Dior Eau de Toilette, the full, luminous beauty of the Centifolia rose unfurls, brilliant and light at once. I wanted to give it a unique refreshing quality with a lily of the valley accord.”
The base notes that comprise the Miss Dior floral bouquet -Grasse Rose and jasmine – are now draped in a fresh veil of Lily of the Valley. A favorite Dior flower, it was the preferred lucky charm of a superstituous Christian Dior. The fresh and delicate little white flower is unusual in that its fragrance that is not easily coaxed out. Miss Dior Eau de Toilette also has hints of lively citruses like Blood Orange and Mandarin, and the subtle presence of a light Patchouli that binds these cheerful notes together.
François Demachy travels the world to choose the most beautiful essences, which will be transformed into Dior perfumes. It is on his native land in France that the Grasse rose is cultivated — the hundred-petaled splendor at the heart of the new Miss Dior Eau de Toilette.
