MICHAEL KORS FALL 2019 RTW COLLECTION

From tailored suits and statement coats to sequined dresses and Studio 54 riffs, the Fall collection was all kinds of showstopping.

Presented at Cipriani’s Wall Street during New York Fashion Week, the Michael Kors Fall 2019 RTW collection celebrates glamour, romance, and individual style.

From New York’s swinging west 50’s in the seventies, the collection was a convergence of theater, film, dance and fashion with a melting pot of style.

“New York in the ’70s was a melting pot of style—the streets were like a runway. It was a gritty time but people were having fun and embracing glamour and style. When I first moved to this city, I was full of dreams. I wanted this show to be full of that kind of possibility, that kind of joy, that kind of romance,” said Kors.

Legendary singer/songwriter Barry Manilow closed the Fall 2019 Michael Kors Collection runway show with a live performance of his 1978 hit “Copacabana.” The performance, which began during the models’ finale walk, came to a spectacular end with Kors and supermodel Patti Hansen joining Manilow on stage.

From the iconic front row featuring Priyanka Chopra, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington to must-see models Patti Hansen, Kaia Gerber and Bella and Gigi Hadid, here’s your inside pass to our Fall 2019 Michael Kors Collection runway show.
