Also known for his photography, the designer frequently documents his own collections for commercial ad campaigns such as this new female-focused Céline Spring 2019 ad campaign.
Mirroring the glitz of Slimane past with sequin dresses, unkempt hair and black-and-white photography, the new campaign is aptly titled, “Paris La Nuit: Journal Nocturne de la Jeunesse Parisienne.”.
The campaign features a mix of black-and-white close-up shots of a duo of shaggy-haired models sits alongside technicolor images highlighting the clothing. The other pieces include a gold dress beaded with heavy metal hardware and a sequined coat.
