With handwoven Classic Chain with archival-inspired curb links and colorful stones, the John Hardy x Adwoa Aboah collection is a creative collision of heritage craftsmanship and modern street style.

Adwoa Aboah, model, activist and founder of female-empowerment platform Gurls Talk, exudes strength in both action and style. Lending her inherent energy and individuality, the collection is intended to be a powerful tool for self-expression by mixing and matching, layering and stacking to create your unique personal aesthetic.

“Creating pieces that spoke to my authenticity and that could be personalized in a variety of ways was very important to me. Jewelry has transformative power,” said Adwoa.

Rooted in heritage, the limited-edition designs come to life with an infusion of eclectic color and street style. Case in point: Aboah designed a set of stackable signet rings inspired by an heirloom inherited from her grandmother. One of the signet variations, paying homage to Gurls Talk, is an ultra-exclusive standout with less than 20 produced.

Aboah’s love of maximalist styling and contrast organically translate into powerful designs using mixed metals punctuated by raw stones selected for their affirming properties; pyrite, black tourmaline and hematite offer grounding and strength, whereas pink tourmaline, rose quartz and spinel extend color, energy and light. Marrying all of these elements, the collection’s pinnacle is an ornate, layered cape that is one of a kind.
