An essential beauty which lies in the DNA-codes of the Maison, the Fendi Roma is a rectangular and compact messenger bag, the latest addition to the iconic Selleria line handcrafted to embody the highest savoir-faire.

On the one hand, the new Selleria collection celebrates and exalts the traditional aspects of the line: first and foremost the use of Roman leather, followed by the use of palladium which, as in the beginning, is the metal of choice for all the trimmings featured on the bags. On the other hand, it introducesnew elements, such as the shapes, which revisit classic Selleria stylistic codes in a modern key, and presents discrete stylistic interventions that add a modern touch to each model.

The same can be said for the new must-have colour palette: timeless black, a sophisticated shade of grey, a natural toffee hue and the elegant boldness of peacock blue.

Another precious novelty involves the materials used, in particular sellier calfskin. This precious French leather  is chrome-tanned using a traditional technique which allows an ultra-light finishing, thus preserving the natural grain of the leather.

New customizations are available too: equestrian elements are both aesthetic and functional, for example the transversal strips of leather which are reminiscent of saddle reins, or the lockets.

Silvia Venturini Fendi re-launched and reinterpreted the Selleria line, handbags, travel bags and small leather goods in Cuoio Romano leather entirely handmade by Roman master saddlers in a limited-edition series. Originally created by Adele Fendi, it is now re-offered with the same culture and the same techniques of the times.
